ADX Scanner

The ADX Scanner features two primary modes of operation.  First is the DI+/DI- crossover mode, which notifies the trader when the DI lines indicate a shift between bullish and bearish sentiment. When the DI+ line crosses above the DI- line, a BUY signal is generated.  When the DI+ line crosses below the DI- line, a SELL signal is generated.  The scanner can also add a filter to the signals using the ADX line.  If the ADX line is above the threshold value you set, the BUY and SELL signals will be generated.  If the ADX falls below the threshold value, a NEUTRAL signal will be generated.

The second mode of operation is the ADX only mode.  The scanner will produce a BUY signal whenever the ADX rises above the threshold value. This should not be construed as a BUY, but rather a green light to look for a trade by other means, since the ADX shows directional movement of price action.
