Swiss Army Knife is a multi-purpose productivity tool designed to save the trader time and frustration. It shows useful statistics about the symbol you’re trading, risk parameters of a trade you’re considering, lot size calculation based on your risk parameters, and critical margin information.

In addition, it provides a currency and timeframe switcher that identifies symbols with open trades as well as integrated watch capabilities.

    this tool is amazing as i have been blowing account after account for the past 3 years due to improper risk management and lot sizing. but with the Swiss Army Knight, you know you lost size you are getting at a certain stop depending on your risk parameters. since i started using the SAK, and told the indicator to Calculate lot on 2 person risk. i have never lost more than 2 percent. it take the guess work away and instill confidence in me. it it even so useful during scalping when you have to make a split section decision on lot size, this comes in handy. i cannot trade without this tool at all.

    i’ve noticed a few things testing out Scott’s tools (cooltradingtools.com) – they’re very well thought out, so that means the details are all in check, but often when that’s the case, the performance suffers and the user doesn’t get the benefits of those details when they really want and need them (more on grey screen later).

    Think about it like this – if you were ordering the ultimate plate of nachos and you’re anything like me you’d want quac, sour cream, onions, all sorts of carne, salsa, hot sauce on and on and on and on – more than the average plate could handle and also more ingredients than you could fit into the perfect all in one bite. get it? so what do you do – you order basic nachos, you settle.

    with swiss army knife you are not settling and this is the brilliance of scott’s brain and this tool. i write code too and all of the features i’d want are baked into this tool and all scott will do it make it better! it’s literally the perfect plate of nachos that you can enjoy in one bite. it’s a swiss army knife for mt4! the beauty of this tool is it’s all the tools you need without the heavy lifting!

    my only complaint is that the help window isn’t draggable. if you want a sweet set of VERY useful tools and shortcuts you either have to download a TON of indicators that will grey out your mt4 when you really need it to NOT be grey, write them all yourself, or um, get swiss army knife and when you see something you want added that you need (and it’s reasonable), bug him that’s my plan 😉

    as an aside, if you’re trading with the best, you’re trading with Jenny Baker and this fit’s RIGHT in with her stuff 🙂

    another sidenote, if you find use in scott’s tools, that usually means you’re “getting it” because well.. so that’s all i’ll say about the baked in features of swiss army knife (i should have just written this and only this)

    Swiss Army Knife it the best Plugin for you MT4. It makes is so much more usable. I enjoy TradingView because how quick it is to mark and move around the charts to get more precision on you mark ups. Since adding SAK to may chart I have really be enjoying using the MT4 more. It also, give you so much more and the quick keyboard short cuts make is even faster and easier to do what you need to do while in MT4.
